Uusi Fantasia – Feet firmly off the ground

At last, an assignment at Rento Stage. Sun, sand beneath bare feet, smiling and scantily clad people. Beautiful. Oh boy, is this chilled out or what… For you this is probably a common occurence, but my time at the festival is mostly spent in a tent, hidden from sight. Sweating, bleeding,  suffering. But not this time!

Uusi Fantasia is a perfect fit for the Rento Stage. The laid-back beats and cosmic spheres of synthesizers joined hands to form a highly danceable, psychedelic rhythm. Violin, horn and cello completed the package and seasoned the trip. The instrumentals in the beginning worked slowly but surely towards pulling the crowd in. Once in, they were never let go. Everything came to a triumphant completion when none other than the mighty Freeman took to the stage for the last two songs. The rest is, of course, Rento Stage history.

Uusi Fantasia. Style, they brought it.
