Joensuu’s very own, the winner of the Rokit band contest, The Dirge Organ, conjured up danceable beats and catchy melodies for the enjoyment of a small but impassioned audience. The band boasts a hefty dose of potential and charisma. The playing is smooth, the choruses stick in your brain and the sheer positive energy lightens up your mood. We will definitely hear from these guys yet, even though the home ground advantage did not play a big role this time around. People of Joensuu, digging local bands openly is ok!
