Cool gig, hot weather

The Freerap Rentoshow is something Ilosaarirock hasn’t seen before. The national rap champion Solonen put up a four guy group just for Ilosaarirock and with a DJ they’ll rap about anything the crowd wants them to rap. Sunday’s third performer at Rento stage gave a cool gig which left everyone with a smile.

The idea of Freerap Rentoshow is challenging but the hardcore professionalism with a little twinkle in their eyes, the performers Solonen with Jodarok, Kosola and Särre took the show to the next level. Rapping about anything the crowd wants them to rap, the subjects varied everything from the weather to festival education about the importance of fluids. The perfect weather was like a frosting on a cake and everyone was chilling with the good show. This was Ilosaarirock at its best.
