The Saints of Sunday Afternoon
Hang overed and tired but happy party people gathered around Rentolava-stage to see Sunday’s first performer Pyhimys (The Saint). Artists debut album was probably the most complemented hip hop record in Finland last year and good call for Rentolava’s opening act.
The fresh but easy going sound worked well in the Sunday afternoon spirit. Hard partying must’ve taken its toll as most of the audience rested on their asses during the gig. Pyhimys didn’t demand anything more from the people at Rentolava and the artists definitely enjoyed having the role of the hang over doctor. When Pyhimys finished, the DJs at the beach took over and the sun corressed the freshned up party people.
