Old school reggae and bellydancing

Momo CatSaturday’s second act at the Rentolava-stage was a Moroccan born Finn Momo Cat. Momo Cat gave a straight forward old school reggae act, preaching about politics, terrorism and the compulsory love and peace.

Momo Cat’s performance was fairly mainstream reggae but it worked. The band proved to be very skillfull and the use of echo effects gave a nice touch to the vocals. It was just the thing people at the Rentolava were expecting and everybody from the shore to the beach were jamming to Momo Cat’s reggae beat.

At the end of the show the audience almost saw a surprise specatcle. Momo Cat challenged the first row girls to come and bellydance on the stage. Few girls took the challenged but chickened out at the last minute. Shame, but it didn’t put down the great atmospere that has surrounded Rentolava through out the day.
