The sun almost shines - at least in people’s hearts
Though rain kept drizzling from the grey skies outside, inside the Kolmoslava tent Tohtori Orff & Herra Dalcroze (Doctor Orff and Mister Dalcroze) brought smiles on people’s faces. For a moment it seemed like even the over-hanging clouds were forced to flee before the childlike merry-making.
The veteran performers started their sunny journey down the familiar paths with a song about boy called Matias, and proceeded through dreams of birds and Little Red Riding Hood to immersion course in all things Irish, not forgetting to cheer up the crowd with some soap bubbles.
The delightful children’s hour broke even the most serious faces into wide smiles and incited the audience to sing along loudly. During the last song, the charismatic band invited few members of the audience to come up to stage and rock along using tennis rackets as guitars. A fitting end for the disarming performance.
