Royal Blood (UK)
The British rock duo Royal Blood is finally coming to Finland! They have been highly anticipated since 2014, when they released their debut album Royal Blood, which promptly reached the peak of the British billboard. The band has dropped hints about releasing their second album this year, so the rock thirsty audience can finally have their fill of this duo.
The blues-tinted garage rock of Royal Blood is created with an original set up. The band doesn't really have a guitarist as vocalist Mike Kerr delivers most of the riffs with his bass guitar while drummer Ben Thatcher makes sure the beat never drops. It is hard to believe that the wall of sound comes from just these two! Their energetic act has been compared to White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys, to name a few. In fact, Arctic Monkeys wanted Royal Blood as their supporting act before they had released their first album.
Royal Blood's gig will be flush with hits like Figure It Out and Little Monsters, and of course pure, unadulterated rock mojo!
