Dizzee Rascal, the pioneer of grime and one of the greats of British hip hop, rose to fame in 2003 with his debut album Boy in da Corner. The album won the desired Mercury Prize and it became the ultimate grime classic. After his rocketing start, Dizzee Rascal has established his place as the rap star shooting out super energetic number one singles one after another and whose gigs are unparalleled in their volatileness.
Dizzee Rascal's music is turbo-infused firing where the bass growls and rhymes are shot like from a machine gun. Rascal visited Ilosaarirock Festival in 2009 and the dust cloud created by his audience is still hovering over festival area. It’s going to be a sweaty night!
