It is near impossible to form enough words to describe the phenomenon that is Finland’s biggest and brightest band, but thankfully, just three letters will do: JVG. With a career spanning more than a decade now, the charismatic rap duo has certainly had their cake and eaten it, too – with no signs of stopping any time soon.
JVG has achieved everything a band their scale can in Finland, with multiple awards, their sheer dominance over the country’s top playlists and radio stations, sold-out shows ranging from clubs to arenas and a feature-length documentary about their incredible career. And their next stop? The historic Helsinki Olympic Stadium in August for a massive concert (and a sure-fire generational experience) of their own. PHEW!
