The American mathcore wonder, The Dillinger Escape Plan, truly came, saw and conquered the hearts of the Ilosaarirock festival crowd. The band’s tour following their latest release came to close at the YleX stage this evening, and the audience even got some taste of things to come. Mainly the set consisted of the proved-and-approved fundemental chaos that at least fired up the mosh pit if nothing else before had. The band seemed to be in good humour and the hyper-energetic stage performance entertained surely both the long-time fans and the overawed first-timers. Let’s hope we see The Dillinger Escape Plan find their way back to Ilosaarirock some time again, because this kind energy is always welcome.
