Maj Karma, the opening act on YleX stage on Sunday, gave quite the erotic wake-up call for the good audience of Ilosaarirock that filled the tent about halfway.Mr. Ylppö grasped the front rows in the iron grip of true charisma, and the last vestiges last night’s weariness were shaken off. The audience didn’t admit to feeling the after effects of last night when asked if anybody had a hangover, but love and love-making were some of the things that the crowd confessed to. The atmosphere escalated to apoint where the gig had to be halted for a time it took to get the frenzied vocalist a new microphone to replace the broken one.

Near the end Mr. Ylppö (to the unbridled joy of the stage security) decided that it was time to get a little closer contact with the audience and jumped over the fence into the middle of the crowd. A peculiar situation when you realise that bald figure closing in on you and you have to decide whether to sidestep or hug him.
