A different punky reggae party

When Sunday was about to turn to evening, the YleX stage was taken by Bad Brains, the experimental punk legends from Washington D.C. The band is not only known as pioneers of the hardcore music, but also for their eagerness to add reggae music to their punk sound. The gig was started by some pure punk songs, but later they started to play reggae rhythms as well. Soon the blendings of the genres became more fluent.
Members of the 1977-founded band arrived to the stage in laid-back mood. H.R., the vocalist, was the protagonist when the band started to offer an interesting mix of deep reggae rhythms and noisy punk sound.
The crowd was a bit quiet in the beginning, perhaps due to some fatigue after two days of festivity, but when the show got forward, the crowd was visibly stirred up. This kind of mix of punk and reggae is not usual, but by all means it is very interesting to hear.
