Ska of the day as served by The Capital Beat
Julkaistu 18.7.2009 19:07
The ska and reggae fusion group The Capital Beat started the evening of always so sunny Rentolava stage. The fast rhythms, guaranteed by trumpets, saxophones and slide trombones of the Southern Finnish eight-man group made the people dance on the sandy beach and on the grass. The atmosphere at Rentolava stage gives every year a jubilant festival mood! Unfortunately, The Capital Beat is not yet as good as another Finnish ska orchestra The Valkyrians, because the songs of their repertoire are quite similar. The good old ska rhythm makes, however, the dancing foot to rise and crowns the evening together with the shining sun, the smiling people, the good sounding brass section and the elegantly dressed performers.
The hips are moving and the soap bubbles are glistening in the air. Ilosaarirock and Rentolava are here again.
