Dizzee Rascal electrified the YleX Stage
Julkaistu 18.7.2009 19:07Dizzee Rascal gathered the YleX Stage full of people keen to hear his pacy and rhythmic hip hop music. Right from the beginning, it was clear what was to come. The bass hammered a solid backbone for the rhymes of the East London rapper. The intensive show took the audience, which certainly was enjoying the electrified atmosphere of the gig.
The sound of Dizzee Rascal was dominated by the strongly hammering bass. The quick rhymes of the rappers completed the sound. Dizzee Rascal hasn’t been renowned for his rhymes and if you couldn’t understand all, you could just throw yourself to enjoy the beat.
The show included as well furious songs, based on the flow of Dizzee Rascal, as more melodical songs. The style was moving from ragga to hip hop fluently, making borders of the music genres to appear like pure formalities. Dizzee Rascal, who was now in Finland for his first time, was probably impressed by the good mood of the Finnish audience. It is probable as well that the Finnish festival audience did enjoy every moment of the action.
