Gracias & The Globe Band
The Congolese-Finnish rap artist Gracias stunned the Finnish hip hop scene with his debut EP released in 2011. The track Mon€y was chosen as the Song of the Year in the Funky Awards and the man himself won a bunch of Most Promising New Act votes. The EP introduced the Finnish hip hop audience to a new gently swaying, relaxed, yet stylish sound. For the album Globe, Gracias alongside the producer JTT made the sound more organic and took it deeper into the funk. The third album is expected this spring and the expectations are sky high.
Gracias and his group, The Globe Band, will be offering rhythmic gratification live at Ilosaarirock Festival. His smooth flow and the band's tight beat will make waves at the Rento Stage.
