Oranssi Pazuzu has bewildered the metal scenes in Finland and Europe since 2007. The band's psychedelic black metal might be too much for some of the subgenre's purists, but has found plenty of followers beyond the metal crowds. The latest of band's three albums, Valonielu, was released by Svart Records last year.

Oranssi Pazuzu's music has a primal and mystical aroma. They take their time and the themes stretch and grow on songs that can last over 15 minutes. At times they can raise your mind all the way to the atmosphere and beyond into the cosmic spheres, while the tectonic mass of their music will keep your body well grounded.
